Indian Woman,

Dealing with pain.

Living in two worlds,

Feeling the strain.

Five hundred years

Of conflict, and strife

Gives her a different

Outlook on life.

She opens her heart

To love, and there's pain,

Yet needs love around her

Like soft, gentle rain!

It washes away

All the heartache and tears.

It makes her feel wanted,

And quiet's her fears.

If she's open to love,

Then she's open to pain.

There's so much to loose,

Yet so much to gain!

To live is to love,

To laugh, and to cry,

She bears so much pain,

So few tears in her eye.

Indian Woman,

Dealing with pain.

Living in two worlds,

Feeling the strain.
